Privacy Policy

The legally binding privacy policy is provided in German, in line with our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German TDDDG. An informal English summary follows below.

2. What data we collect

  • Server log files (browser type, OS, referrer, hostname, request time, IP address) — for technical operation, on the basis of GDPR Art. 6 (1)(f).
  • Contact form submissions (company, contact name, email, phone, message) — for handling your inquiry, on the basis of GDPR Art. 6 (1)(b) or (f).
  • Inquiry form submissions (positions, BOM uploads, attachments, contact details) — for handling your sourcing inquiry, on the same basis.

3. Third parties

We use the following processors, each under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA, in German: AVV):

  • netcup GmbH (Karlsruhe, Germany) — web hosting.
  • Papoo Software & Media GmbH (CCM19) (Bonn, Germany) — consent management.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) — statistical web analysis, loaded only after consent. IP anonymization active. Data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Zoom Communications Inc. — for video meetings on request (we use Zoom via the Deutsche Telekom cloud telephony service).
  • Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft Teams) — for video meetings with suppliers.

4. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

5. SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for the transmission of confidential content such as inquiries and contact requests. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock icon in your browser's address bar.
